It works in a very different way: Iso files are partially extracted and integrated into a central boot menu. Ive been using YUMI before Ventoy came out. To add more ISO files to the USB, simply copy the ISO file, navigate to the USB drive using the Windows Explorer, and paste the ISO there. Yumi EXE is only needed if you want to get fancy ( eg Ubuntu with persistence file). Meaning, it can still be accessed as a regular USB drive even after it has been formatted using Ventoy.
